The challenge is to increase your knowledge of methods, materials, techniques, and possibilities with colored concrete, and dare to reach beyond what is known and familiar to you. Experimenting can nurture and create a force, spurring us on to new levels in our work.
Why draw the line on your creative potential
Colormaker and its associates including Mike Miller the Concretist (San Francisco) have opportunities readily available for existing artisan/installers to work on projects throughout North America helping expand your creative repertoire.
We can also work as consultants on your projects and provide you with artisans with specialty skills when required. This method has been extremely successful in the past. Your decorative concrete project can act as a workshop for you and your employees.
You will have access to Colormaker President, Gary Jones, who started out in 1972 blending with a shovel and installing a mix of 1/2-inch pebble and pure cement which produced an exposed aggregate topping on existing concrete. Over the years Colormaker has developed a number of innovative concrete toppings and coloration processes.
Gary is positioned in the company to consult for installers/clients needing a topping specialist on their projects, teaching your employees and bringing them up to speed on Colormaker's specialty surfaces and coloration techniques.
As the manufacturer of decorative concrete supplies, we at Colormaker know what it takes to make a project work. Our experience within the industry has given us an undeniable insight into the problems facing the installer today.
We sell all the decorative concrete supplies you will require. Don't forget to check out our product section and opportunities for installers.

what our client had to say...
"I have been associated with Gary Jones and Colormaker Floors for over 5 years, after training with him at the Concretist Seminars. The products he produces are top-notch and always evolving. The best part about this company is they are always there to help talk you through a tough job or serious problem. I have literally called them hundreds of times looking for advice and they have always come through for me. The decorative floor business is rapidly changing and this bunch is the best I have come across. I am very happy to have the whole group as business associates and consider them friends."
-- Jeffrey Wolcott, Wolcott Concrete
"My plan has been "keep it simple as possible" - have good management in place, surround yourself with talented artisans, use proven products and you will succeed. Having Colormaker's chief consultant, Gary Jones, on site and using their installation supplies have played an integral part in our success."
-- Michael Drammer, President, Architectural Concrete Environments, Murphys, California
