Sales Manager with initiative!

Smart Surface Technology is a growing company with 3 distribution outlets in North America: Cleveland, OH and Fresno, CA in the USA and Vancouver, BC in Canada.
This position is for a sales person who can be flexible and wear a couple of different hats. A sales back ground is a real asset, but not essential. One aspect of the job is to ship our decorative concrete products to our West coast distributors. Initially only 30%-40% of your time will be involved in distribution and warehouse duties. The other 70% of your time will be directed to wards sales/marketing and customer service. You will need to be independent until the flow of business can support additional company staff. At that time the successful applicant can move into the position that suits his abilities and aspirations.

We need a person who is looking to take on a challenge and bring your experiences to assist in establishing an efficient and productive operation.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving products (1-2 shipments a month)
- Shipping (3 hours per day)
- Ensuring warehouse is always maintained in an orderly manner
- Arrange, co-ordinate and track customer shipments to installers, and distributors
- Inventory control
- Collaborate with the existing team in regards to Sales and Marketing opportunities
- Expand our California client base
Requirements:
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Fluent in English
- Must have a US Drivers License
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8am - 4 pm and to be flexible when required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with dead lines and changing priorities
- Have the ability to work independently, a self starter and in collaboration with others
- Be organized and able to multi-task
- Be trained to have an understanding of Decorative Concrete Industry
- Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs

Trainer/Instructor
Richmond, BC, Canada
Smart Surface Technology is seeking dedicated individuals with an aptitude for the decorative concrete industry to train and instruct at our teaching facility in Richmond, BC.
Requirements:
- You must be fluent in English, written & spoken with excellent communication skills.
- You must have post secondary education in Teaching.
- Be fully competent in micro-toppings & coloration processes.
- Skilled use of all the required tools.
- Knowledge of concrete toppings, pigments, dyes and sealers is essential.
- Attended decorative concrete seminars or workshops.
- You must have the ability to install & instruct while "in the field".
- A good understanding of the decorative concrete installation processes is mandatory.

Installer
