Colorfast is a ready to use finely ground blend of natural and synthetic iron oxide pigments, and proprietary admixtures. Allowing the artisan to pigment Colorfast cementitious toppings on site giving them much greater color control and flexibility. The color charts above show the different results obtained when using our grey or white base toppings and varying the cup loading.

The Colorfast used for the charts is either a high or low loading. When your shipment is delivered a free set of cups are supplied: 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 cup size; these are identical to those used in your kitchen. Notice how the colors are softer when using the low loading verses the high and how there is a change in tone from white to grey base.

Steps for using Colorfast and mixing Colormakers cementitious toppings
• Add liquid activator to mixing bucket
• Measure and add colorfast to bucket
• Disperse color with two quick twirls of the drill
• Add 2/3 of cementitious dry powder
• Mix for 30 seconds
• Add remaining powder
• Mix for 60 seconds.
