Martin Webb
Martin Webb trained as an artist and illustrator in England before moving to California to work as Art Director for The Concretist. He has collaborated on many unique floors developing innovative approaches to using skim coats, stains and dyes. Martin produces one off vertical decorative concrete panels using multiple layers of skim coat with inlayed materials and color work. These works feature richly textured surfaces and abstract shapes alluding to geological, biological, or geometric forms. "My approach to using these materials often means abusing them and pushing them to do things that they were never designed to do. Their versatility and flexibility give you the confidence to think outside the box creatively."
